Weather Station Sensors Moved |

Now that the ground has thawed, I've relocated the weather station sensors to be a little further from the house which should improve the accuracy of the measurements, especially on temperature and wind direction. I've also adjusted the settings on altitude to use GPS settings. This may cause anomalies in barometer readings for the day, but should be more accurate from this point on. |

We've recently purchased a new weather station that reports current conditions to a computer for logging and display. The new page, "Current Weather" is a first pass effort at displaying the data on our web site. As we learn more about the capabilities of the weather station and software, the page may change to reflect new or different data. Check it out and let us know what you think. |

More Eulert Family Photos Added |

I've posted several old Eulert and Weber Family photos that I got from my cousin Alice. Then with the help of my dad, I've added captions to them. I came across a family name, Siebert, that I had not heard before. It appears that started with the marriage of my grand aunt, Katherine Weber. The pictures are in the photo albums category, or click here to go to them directly. |

Weisenborn and Eulert Family Photos |

The photo pages for the Weisenborn and Eulert family photos have been changed back to the old photo album pages although they are in the context of the new site. This has been done for two reasons: 1. Putting the captions that were on the old pages would have taken too long to transfer to the new format; and 2. The sheer number of photos was causing problems on the back-end (administration) in processing new photos. This could also be slowing down page loading on what you see. Other photo albums may be put back also, such as the "Building the Dream" category. Any new photos will be done in the new format.
The good news is that in changing the Eulert family photos back, scans of slides from the Ernie Eulert archives are now available under the "Eulert Family Photos" category. |
